Former Air Force Sergeant To Reveal UFO Encounter

Military personnel, scientists, reporters and others meet in Eureka Springs to uncover the truth about UFO's and other unexplained phenomena.

Former Air Force Sergeant John Burroughs

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release) – Apr 02, 2010 – (EUREKA SPRINGS, AR) – In July, 1979, John Burroughs was in the U.S. Air Force, a base security officer at RAF Bentwaters, 80 miles northeast of London, England. On December 26, 1980, Sgt. Burroughs’ life was forever changed when he and several other base personnel had an encounter with a UFO at the perimeter of the airbase. After almost three decades of not remembering what he experienced, he has been working with researcher Linda Moulton Howe in an effort to recover those lost memories and experiences.

At the 22nd Annual Ozark UFO Conference here April 9-11, Burroughs will tell his story as a first-hand witness to an event of high strangeness that still has new revelations.  johnfburr@yahoo.com

Burroughs is one of nine speakers at the conference, which begins with registration at 8 a.m. April 9 at the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks. Presentations start at 1 p.m. that day and conclude April 11 at noon.

Howe is a graduate of Stanford University with a Masters Degree in communication. She has devoted her documentary film, television, radio, writing and reporting career to productions concerning science, medicine and the environment. Ms. Howe has received local, national and international awards, including three regional Emmys, a national Emmy nomination and a Station Peabody award for medical programming. Richard Dolan has a graduate degree in history from the University of Rochester and has published many articles and spoken at conferences around the world. Part of his presentation will deal with the destruction of our political liberties as a result of the UFO cover-up. He has also speculated on the possible nature of the non-humans themselves and what their presence here means for our civilization. He will explain why and how the Ministry of Defense investigated UFOs and what conclusions were drawn.   www.nickpope.net
